ABOUT
Hanagocoro (花心)
The freedom of a private villa,
the hospitality of a ryokan—
all shared with your pet.
Ever-changing seasonal mountain scenery and deep tranquility.
Ten cottage-style guest rooms are thoughtfully arranged on a gently sloping hillside.
Combining the privacy of a private villa with the attentive hospitality of a ryokan,
Hanagocoro offers a space filled with peace and relaxation.
Clear air, birdsong carried on the breeze,
skin-beautifying hot springs, and the bounty of the mountains.
In this mountain village, registered as one of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan,”
we invite you to savor time as it flows slowly and freely.
Along the mountain road,
the scenery of the four seasons
extends a warm welcome.
After check-in,
drive directly to the entrance of your cottage.
At Hanagocoro, all rooms are cottage-style accommodations.
Each cottage has its own dedicated parking space directly in front.
With parking located right beside the entrance,
loading and unloading luggage is easy and convenient.

Help your dog release the stress of traveling by car
with playtime at the dog run or a relaxing walk.
Some dogs may not be accustomed to car travel.
After arrival, we encourage you to take a stroll along the nearby walking paths
or let your dog run freely and play at the dog run.

Enjoy a private open-air bath
on the wooden terrace.
Maisonette-style rooms feature a wooden terrace and a private open-air bath.
Soak in skin-beautifying hot spring waters while watching your pet play on the terrace.
This is a moment of relaxation found only at Hanagocoro—
we invite you to savor it.
There is a reason why the hot springs of the Oda Onsen area, where hanagocoro is located,
are often referred to as “skin-beautifying waters.”
They are rich in a component known as metasilicic acid.
Metasilicic acid is often described as a naturally occurring moisturizing element
and is traditionally said to support skin hydration and the body’s natural renewal process,
leading to expectations of enhanced skin condition.

An ensemble of flavors brought forth by the bounty of the mountains.
Meals are served in the dining room.
Warm dishes are presented while they are still perfectly hot.
Chilled dishes are served at their crispest moment.
Above all, we honor each guest’s pace.
To ensure every dish is enjoyed at its best,
meals are thoughtfully prepared and served in our dining room.
After dinner, return to your room
for a private moment just for you.
Unlike a traditional ryokan or hotel,
one of Hanagocoro’s unique charms is the freedom to enjoy time as if in your own private villa.
Share heartfelt conversations, play with your pet,
or gaze at the stars in the night sky through the window—
please spend the evening in whatever way feels right to you.
And in the morning, take a leisurely stroll through the mountain village.
When you return, a delicious breakfast awaits.
For the morning hours, we invite you to enjoy a walk around the surrounding area.
Birdsong, the sound of flowing water, and fresh air—
the breath of nature gently awakens your body and senses.
Upon returning, a breakfast prepared with seasonal ingredients will be ready for you.
Each room is also equipped with ground coffee and paper drip filters,
so after breakfast, please relax and unwind at your own pace in your room.
